ENCHANTÉ BISTRO

In the spot that housed Southampton’s renowned Red Bar Brasserie is EHP Hospitality Group’s long-awaited reimagined bistro Enchanté. With a chic, mid-century design, Enchanté (French for “nice to meet you”) is already receiving raves for their elevated bistro fare and the welcoming ambiance of their glass-enclosed dining room. Parisian-inspired menu offerings include Peconic escargots, Niçoise salad, and mussels or steak frites— délicieux!

MAVERICKS

Overlooking Montauk’s scenic Fort Pond in the former East by Northeast space, Mavericks finally opened after a long delay to stellar reviews. Helmed by seasoned Hamptons chef Jeremy Blutstein and sommelier Vanessa Price, Mavericks offers a “surf-and-turf reboot, with sunsets on the side.” Look for contemporary takes on timeless classics and locally sourced dishes like the chilled Montauk Jonah crab claws, Southampton maitake mushroom steak, and whole Montauk fluke meuniére—all accompanied by wines from their impressive 275-bottle list.

SAG HARBOR KITCHEN

Taking over the prime spot and former home of the old Dockside restaurant in the American Legion building on Bay Street is Sag Harbor Kitchen, led by Michelin award-winning chef Melissa O’Donnell. The menu will be seafood-heavy and also offer burgers, steaks, vegetarian dishes, and an extensive wine list. Slated for an official opening in mid-June, they’ll be offering a limited menu beginning Memorial Day weekend. Book an outdoor firepit table on the deck or stop by after the beach or theater for their specialty drink and food menus.
