I’ve always believed it’s better to have the wisdom of experience than simply the knowledge of books. After more than 26 years selling Hamptons real estate and over $800 million in career sales, I’ve learned that experience matters, particularly in a market where value can change from one street to the next.
I’ve been a full-time Wainscott resident for 24 years and have spent my career working throughout the Hamptons, from Southampton to Montauk, with particular experience in Wainscott, East Hampton, Sagaponack, Bridgehampton, Water Mill and Amagansett. I was also a founding Hamptons broker at Compass and have been with the East Hampton office for the past 10 years.
Knowing the Hamptons means more than knowing recent sales. It means understanding why one location commands a premium over another, what buyers are responding to right now, where value can still be found, and when a property is simply overpriced. Those are things you learn by working in this market year after year.
I work with buyers and sellers across all price points, and my approach is pretty straightforward: listen carefully, work hard, know the numbers and give honest advice. Sometimes that means telling a seller what they don’t particularly want to hear. Sometimes it means telling a buyer to walk away. Good advice should be useful, not convenient.
Whether you’re buying, selling or simply trying to understand what your Hamptons property is worth, my job is to give you the benefit of 26 years of local experience and help you make a well-informed decision.
